JAYVEES TO MEET BRUIN TEAM THIS AFTERNOON

Passing Combination of Pedric and Fletcher to Be Main Threat of Crimson Eleven

A Jayvee football team which started sluggishly this season and never showed its scoring punch until last week's Freshman game meets the Brown yearlings today in the fifth contest of the season, with Jimmy Knox's men on the long end of the odds for the first time this fall.

A far from impressive record has been made this year by the Jayvees, but their second-half rally of last week, when they came from behind to put two tallies over the line for a 18-9 defeat of the 1988 men, showed that the Knoxmen were at last clicking. The passing combination of Pedrick to Fletcher, which materialized one of the touchdowns against the Freshmen, is expected to form a major factor in today's game.
