Bulldog Appears to Add Woe to H.A.A. When Goalposts Are Taken

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

While Harvard's harassed H.A.A. officials shed briny tears at the loss of Saturday's game, and the loss of the goal-posts, Joseph Wright, head of the lost and-found department added a last touch to the desolate picture: he calmly produced from the debris of the aftermath a bull-dog--full-blooded, ferocious and uglier than Handsome Dan II.

This was Mr. Wright's contribution; and, without waiting for acceptance or rejection, he climbed into his car and drove off.

Time came and time went, but Cerberus remainded. At length the owner arrived to claim the dog. Add one item to the H.A.A.'s budget--fifty cents for a can of Roach's flea-powder.
