SWIMMERS DEFEAT B.U. IN ONE-SIDED CONTEST

Terriers Get Only One First Place, To Lose, 48-23 -- Leventritt Makes New Breast Stroke Record

Taking only one first place and a win by disqualification in the relay, the Boston University swimming team found itself on the short end of a 48-23 score Saturday afternoon in the Indoor Athletic Building Pool. Vic Leventritt lowered his record in the breaststroke.

220-yard freestyle--Won by Edward C. Devereux '34; second, Steele (B.U.); third, George Wightman '34. Time--2 min. 26 2-5 sec.

50-yard freestyle--Won by George C. Scott, Jr. '34; second, Roy S. Wallace '35; third, Morosini (B.U.) Time--24 2-5 sec.

Dive Won by Henry K. Fitts, Jr. '36 (73.16); second, Bernard F. Merriam, 11, '36 (66.30); third, Tulis (B.U.) (45.10).

440-yard freestyle--Won by Edward C. Devereux '34; second, Richard G. Dorr '36; third, Fish (B.U.) Time--5 min. 34 3-5 sec.

150-yard back stroke--Won by Edward E. Stowell '34; second, Richard T. Fisher, Jr. '36; third, Howard (B.U.) Time--1 min. 46 1-5 sec.

200-yard breaststroke--Won by M. Victor Leventritt '35; second, Silverman (B.U.); third, Walter S. White '36. Time--2 min. 37 sec. New Harvard Record.
