Announcement of the winners of two prizes given annually to outstanding students in the field of History and Literature was made late yesterday by the Committee on Degrees in the field.

John Barzillai Rackliffe '34 of Newton, was awarded the History and Literature Prize of $50, given by an anonymous donor to the Junior who shows the greatest promise among men concentrating in the division.
