Scoring two runs in the last half of the final inning, the Varsity nine nosed out the Brown Varsity by the score of 2-1 yesterday at Soldiers Field, in a keenly contested yet rather poorly played game. Faced with a shutout defeat, the home team rallied in the final frame to score two runs, when Hines and Murmes singled, bringing home Gleason and Laughlin, who ran for Hines.
