CRIMSON NINE TO OPPOSE PRINCETON OUTFIT TOMORROW

Junior Varsity Meets B. U. Players This Afternoon as Freshmen Face Thayer In Holiday Contest

In its second encounter of the season, the Varsity nine will journey to Princeton today, where it will face the Tiger team tomorrow afternoon. The Varsity, in its opening contest of the year, defeated Pennsylvania, 3-1, at Philadelphia, with E. F. Loughlin '34, holding his opponents to four hits. Due to adverse weather conditions, the team has been unable to play several other scheduled games. Princeton, however, has the advantage of five early season games, having defeated Panzer and C.C.N.Y., and losing to Philadelphia National League Club, 10-1; Rutgers, 7-6; and vermont, 6-4.

Loughlin will start in the mound again tomorrow for the Crimson nine, while the other starting pitcher will be S. W. Wilson '33, of Princeton, Last year Wilson started in the mound, facing Charles Devens '32, who held his opponents to five hits, two of which were made by H. B. Borger '33, first baseman who is now playing right field. Harvard defeated Princeton in this game by the score of 8-1.

Although no definite decision has been made, C. J. Nevin '34, will probably be the other half of the Harvard battery, while G. L. Follansbee '34 will catch for wilson. HARVARD  B. U.
