The 1936 Union Committee announces that Captain Warwick M. Tompkins, of the schooner "Wanderbird," now docked in the Charles Basin, will speak in the downstairs common room of the Union at 7.15 o'clock on Thursday. He will speak on his "Mediterranean Cruise under Sail."

The lecture will deal with a 13,000 mile cruise from New London to Corsica and back by way of the West Indies. The "Wanderbird" is the largest yacht in the world to have only sail-power. It is 54 years old.
