Announcement of several changes in the schedules of spring sports was made last night by the Committee on the Regulation of Athletic Sports at the Harvard Athletic Association.
The Varsity lacrosse team, instead of making a trip to West Point from Monday, April 3, to Saturday, April 8, will go to Annapolis, where they will play two games, with St. John's College on Wednesday, April 5 and with the Naval Academy on Saturday, April 8.
In the Junior Varsity and Freshman crew schedules, the dual races planned for Saturday, May 27 with Pennsylvania have been changed to triangular races so as to include the Navy. A race with M. I. T. has been added to the list of Freshman contests on Saturday, May 20. The Varsity 150-pound crew will row against the corresponding M. I. T. crew also on the same day instead of Saturday, May 6, as previously announced.
The Committee also approved the following races: the second Freshman eight-oared crew with M. I. T., Saturday, May 6; with Groton, Saturday, May 13; with St. Mark's, Saturday, May 27; the Freshman 150-pound crew with M. I. T., Saturday, May 6; the second 150-pound Varsity crew with M. I. T., Saturday, May 6; and the champion House crew with the Yale champions on Saturday, May 20.
These changes complete the schedules of the Harvard teams for this year.
