New York City, June 16--Persistent rumors that the missing Memorial Hall clapper has been decorating the Princeton Club of New York City were vigorously refuted by officials of that club today during an investigation of the case by a special CRIMSON correspondent.
Similar reports as to the presence of the clapper at the Yale Club were likewise denied there. All inquiries tended to substantiate the assertions of these two organizations, and the whereabouts of the famous lead weight remains veiled in mystery.
