John James Ryan, Jr. '33, of Jamaica Plain, has been selected to give the key-note speech for Harvard at the Student Convention on National Political Issues for 1932, which will be held at Princeton, on April 28 and 29. He will speak on "The Republican Idea." The University of Virginia delegate will put forward "The Democratic Idea."
James Francis Farr '33, of Cambridge, has been chosen as alternate. The judges were Professor A. N. Holcombe '06, Professor F. C. Packard '20, and Dr. W. S. Howell. Any men who entered the trials may apply to Professor Holcombe to accompany the speaker as delegates.
