"It is doubtful that the bill adopted by the House of Representatives providing for a 10 per cent tax on all athletic admissions over 46 cents will have a very important effect on the Harvard athletic budget," stated W. J. Bingham '16, director of Athletics, yesterday.
"Even if the bill should survive," he continued, "I should decidedly oppose any increase in the price of the H. A. A. ticket book. However," he added, "it is still problematical whether a tax of this sort would concern the ticket book, a privilege limited exclusively to students of the University."
