William Grant Cooper, Jr. '33, of Ogdensburg, New York, who prepared at Phillips Exeter Academy, has been elected captain of the University boxing team for next year.

He won his letter in boxing last year and in his bouts this season has won two and lost one. He fights in the 165-pound class. In the Dartmouth match he won his bout by a decision, and did the same when fighting against a New Hampshire pugilist. He was defeated by Bubb of Yale last Saturday.
