MONDAY FOOTBALL DRILLS TO LAST THREE WEEKS MORE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Informal football drill, with a view to speeding up the important task of classifying next year's squad, is being held by Coach Casey every Monday in the Briggs Cage. Approximately 30 men have reported for the practice, which is wholly indoors, since an official ban has been placed on regular spring football on the playing fields.

Since no contact work, no kicking, and little passing are included in the routine, it is doubtful whether the coaching staff will be able to form more than a superficial estimate of any new candidates. The work-outs will probably continue for three more weeks. There are more Freshman represented than any other class.
