D.U. FRATERNITY NAMES CAST FOR ANNUAL PLAY

Presentations Will be Held Twice in March--Ince and Sykes Hold Leading Roles of Melodrama

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

On March 10 and 11 the Delta Upsilon Fraternity will present its annual play, in the theatre at the Club House. The play is a burlesque nineteenth century melodrama called "Gold in the Hills or the Dead Sister's Secret," and was written by J. F. Davis. There will probably be some other performance of this play in the next week if the demand for tickets is sufficient, but the performance at Wellesley, where one show is usually given, will not be staged this year.

The first performance will be exclusively for graduate members of the Harvard chapter of the Society, and they will be admitted free. The presentation for the public on the next night will be followed by a dance. Both performances will begin at 8 o'clock, and the price of tickets will be $1.50. The play copies the general outline of pre-Victorian drama in American country theatres. The casting and directing is being done by F. C. Packard, Jr. '20, assistant professor of Public Speaking. The leading parts are Neil, Ronald Incs '32, and Barbara, C. B. Sykes '33; while the other main roles are played by Carter Wells '34, A. B. Gardiner '33, and K. L. Johnson '32.
