First Year Natatic Racers Snatch 52 To 10 Decision--Fetcher, Lewis Only House Men to Take Second Places

Taking the relay and every first place, the Freshman swimmers overwhelmed a composite House team yesterday afternoon 52 to 10. Two House members, R. J. Fetcher '33 (L) and Fred Lewis '33 (E), won second places in the 50-yard free style and 100-yard backstroke events respectively.

The summary:

50-yard free style--won by A. W. Sherwood '35; second, R. J. Fetcher '33 (L); third, R. S. Wallace '35. Time--26 1-5 sec.

Dive--won by H. S. Bowen '35; second, Charles Runyon, Jr. '35, third, F. J. Carr '34 (W).

220-yard free style--won by Fisher Howe '35; second, C. L. Jack '35; third, E. E. White '32 (W). Time--2 min., 34 sec.

100-yard backstroke--won by A. M. Jones '35; second, Fred Lewis '32 (E); third, R. W. McCoy '35. Time--1 min., 14 sec.

100-yard breast stroke--won by F. L. Spreckels '35; second, W. Van A. Bailey '35; third, H. C. Schwyzer '34 (W). Time--1 min., 16 2-5 sec.

100-yard free style--won by A. W. Sherwood '35; second, J. F. Donnelly '35; third, R. J. Fetcher '33 (L). Time--59 4-5 sec.

200-yard relay--won by Freshmen (R. S. Wallace, C. L. Jack, J. F. Donnelly, A. W. Sherwood). Time--4 min., 45 2-5 sec.
