Freshman hockey will officially get under way this afternoon when all candidates will meet in the Common Room of the Union at 5 o'clock. Announcement was made yesterday that Coach Clark Hodder '25 and Robert Saltonstall, Jr. '33, captain of the Varsity hockey team, will speak.
Practice will begin early next week in preparation for the first game with the Belmont Hill outfit which will take place on Wednesday, December 21, at the Boston Garden.
The competition for Freshman managers will open with a meeting at 1.30 o'clock today at the Harvard Athletic Association. The competition will run until the end of February when one manager will be appointed
