JAYVEE BOOTERS MEET TUFTS IN SECOND GAME

Meeting a team which has already beaten it once this year, the Harvard Jayvee soccer team will clash with Tufts this afternoon at 2 o'clock on the Tufts field. The score of the previous encounter was 2 to 1 for Tufts.

The Crimson lineup is Nichols, g.; Grossman, l.f.b.; F. Wemple, r.f.b.; Fuess, r.h.b.; Coleman, c.h.b.; Ware, l.h.b.; Bloomberg, o.r.; Seeman, i.r.; Clarke, c.f.; Kandoian, i.l.; Baxter, o.l. This team, although it has not yet won a game, has been showing constant improvement as the season progressed. After the game today only one remains.

The Jayvees, coached by H. H. Broadbent '32, former Harvard captain, have been handicapped during the season by a weak passing attack. Defensive work has been fairly strong, but a scoring punch was not available in the pinches. Strong teams have on the whole made up the opposition, with several textile school teams, such as Bradford-Durfee, administering their worst defeats.

The soccer season will end with the Yale series on November 19 and 24. The Varsity is thus far undefeated, but has tied three games. The Freshman team has been beaten once, by Andover. The Junior Varsity has not yet won a game. Remaining contests for the Varsity include M.I.T., and the Yale series, while the Freshmen play Quincy High and Yale.
