Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
A request for Harvard men to cooperate with the Red Cross in its annual roll call was made yesterday by E.S. Amazeen '31, graduate secretary of Phillips Brooks House. He asked that all men, although unable to contribute financially, to substitute their personal service.
The Boston Chapter of the American Red Cross has requested the Social Service Committee of Brooks House to assist in securing Harvard men to deliver bulk packages of food and clothing to the Red Cross distributing centers in Boston. Volunteers have been asked to spend three hours at any time of the day that they choose. The Red Cross in the past has often used college men to perform its pressing relief functions, and as the winter season approaches, there has been a growing volume of demand for these materials which the Red Cross distributes. Those men who are willing to give some of their time in the next two weeks have been asked to go to Phillips Brooks House for instructions.
Transportation and chauffeurs who know the routes will be provided for men delivering.
In addition to the work of the Red Cross, the Social Service Committee at Brooks House is distributing 40 Thanks giving dinners to families in the community that have been suggested by the Cambridge Family Welfare Society. The expense in making up these dinner baskets is one of the services that is covered by the funds contributed to the Student Council by members of the University.
