A slight variation in both increase and decrease is shown in the figures on enrollment published in this year's University Catalogue which is to be released on Thursday, December 1. There is little change in the number of administrative and teaching officers as compared with last year when a sensational increase was shown in this department.
The total enrollment of the University shows a decrease of 308. The greatest increase disclosed is the gain of 124 in the College this year as compared with last year. The slightest variation is shown in the Theological School where there are 48 students enrolled as against 47 last year. The Engineering School has lost more students than any other department. There are 218 enrolled this year as contrasted with 293 a year ago. The University Summer School Extension had enrolled 2326 for this year, while a year ago there were 3052 in this department.
