ELIOT GIVEN MUSIC LIBRARY

Anonymous Donor Makes Purchase of Records Possible

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Through the generosity of an anonymous donor, a musical library of phonograph recordings has been made possible. Members of the House committee together with A. T. Merritt, Tutor in Music in Eliot House, have already selected the recordings, and an electrical phonograph has been ordered. A room has been set aside in the basement of the library entry in which the records may be played. A special feature of this music room will be a collection of orchestral scores of well-known compositions, to be used with the records.
