In its second encounter of the season, the University soccer team will meet the Amherst Varsity at 3 o'clock this afternoon. Coach J. Carr expects that the game will be closely contested, as both teams are considered quite strong. Last Saturday, in its first encounter, the Harvard team defeated Bridgewater State Teachers' College 5-0, while Amherst conquered Worcester Polytechnic Institute by the score of 3-0.

The Harvard team in its scrimmages so far has displayed rather poor team work, while the individual playing has been of a high calibre.
