Collections of money for the relief of Cambridge unemployed will be made in the Stadium at the Army game next Saturday, and at no other game this year, it was announced last night by the Student Council. The decision to ask the spectators for contributions at only one game was made by the Council at the suggestion of the Dean's Office and the H.A.A., who felt that almost an much would be contributed at one big game as at two or more, in view of the fact that about the same group of people attend each game.

The Military Academy being a government institution however, the situation is altered this year.

A request was made early in October by Stoughton Bell '96, chairman of the Financial Committee of the Cambridge Unemployment Relief Committee, for assistance from the Student Council, emphasizing the increased acuteness of the unemployment situation this winter. A vote of the Council shortly thereafter approved charity collections at the Army game, and the H.A.A., and West Point officials have now given their consent.

Robert Saltonstall '33, president of the Student Council, is in charge of the collections. Although at a late hour last night he could not be reached to verify the statement, it was intimated by Hamilton Young '33, treasurer of the Council, that the method of collection would be the same as last year's.
