Captain Adolphus Watson, U. S. N., Chief-of-Staff in command of cruisers of the battle fleet, arrives in Cambridge today to take up his new duties as director of the Naval Science course at Harvard. Captain Watson, who comes from San Podro, California, succeeds Captain Bonyaurd Bourno Wygant, U. S. N., as professor of Naval Science and Tactics.
Captain Wygant left the University two weeks ago following an order from the Navy Department to assume command of the U. S. S. Colorado, one of the newest and best equipped ships in the Navy.
Captain Watson has been selected for promotion to a rear admiralty, but will remain on duty here until he attains this position.
