DOCTORS STUDY CHANGES IN WOOD'S BLOOD IN CONTESTS

W. B. Wood, Jr. '32 has been contributing to the cause of science by allowing experts from the Medical School to take samples of his blood while he is relaxed and then while he is in the heat of competition, it was learned yesterday. The corpuscular composition of the blood is believed to undergo some slight transformation under muscular and emotional stress and the medical authorities are trying to ascertain this change with Wood as the specimen. Wood has submitted to these blood tests after the football games this fall and now is giving samples of his blood after the hockey tilts.
