HOUSE COMMITTEES CHOSEN TO SERVE FOR COMING YEAR

Student Council Report Has Planned Program for 1982--More Men Will be Named at Later Date

Nineteen undergraduates and two students is in graduate schools next year have been appointed members of House committees for the five new House units, which open their doors for the first time in September. These men, in whose hands will rest most of the power for undergraduate organization and control of House activities, will serve for the year 1931-32. After that, it is announced, the groups will be elected, as has recently been done in Lowell and Dunster Houses.

The Adams House committee will be composed of M.M. Johnson '31, who next year will enter the Law School, D. B. Dorman '32, E. A. Locke, Jr. '32, A. H. Stebbins '32, and J. L. Hutter, Jr. '33. A 1934 and perhaps an additional 1933 member will be chosen in the fall.

At Winthrop House P. H. Fuchter '32 will act as chairman. He will have associated with him J. R. Collins '32, T. A. Dodge '32, J. M. Koller '32, C. J. Fleming, Jr. '33, and Eugene DuBois '33.

The chairman of the Kirkland House group will be G. C. Homans '32. G. W. Kuehn '32 and W. S. Youngman 2L will also serve as members.

Leverett will have as chairman E. E. Morison '32, and R. H. Reed '34, Andrew Marshall, Jr. '34, C. E. McAleer '33, J. S. Hartwell '32, and Lanning Roper '33 as members. G. W. Lewis '32 will be chairman of the Eliot House committee; the additional members will be chosen later.

It is probable that most of the student groups will add other members in the fall, when the committees will begin active work. According to plans outlined in the recent Student Council report each House group will, among other things, organize an athletic committee to take charge of inter-House sports.
