Several joint performances are included in the preliminary plans for next season's concerts by the Harvard Glee Club, announced last night by G. K. Martin '32, assistant manager of the Club.
The appearances definitely scheduled consist of joint concerts with the Wellesley College Glee Club at Wellesley on December 10, 1931; with the Smith College Glee Club, at Northhampton on May 7, 1932; with the Yale Glee Club on November 20, 1931, at Cambridge; and a performance in Plymouth under the auspices of the Plymouth Men's Glee Club on March 3, 1932.
In addition to these and other local and college concerts which are being planned, the Club expects to undertake an extensive program in collaboration with the Boston Symphony Orchestra. As yet no announcement has been made by the Symphony Hall authorities regarding what choral and orchestral compositions will be performed by the combined organizations, which will be joined by the Radcliffe Choral Society.
Though no definite itinerary for the annual spring trip of the Club was given out it was intimated that the vacation tour would make western Ohio its objective. Following the singing in connection with Class Day and Commencement exercises the Club will disband for the season. There will be no pre-season appearance of the Club this year, corresponding to the reception for President Hoover given at the Gardiner Museum last summer.
