Samborski Named Secretary in Charge of House Athletics

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Adolph Walter Samborski '26 has been appointed to the position of Secretary for House Athletics according to an announcement made yesterday by William J. Bingham '16, Director of Athletics. Samborski is at present in charge of all intramural sports and will merely switch his duties to take care of House athletics when the House Plan is in full swing next year.

The position is suggested in the Student Council report on House athletics the first part of which was made public yesterday, while the H. A. A. has repeatedly expressed its willingness to grant to the Houses the services of one of their men. Mr. Bingham stated yesterday that Samborski was the logical man to take over the new duties because of his familiarity with intramural sports.

Samborski has been connected with Harvard athletics since his graduation. While in college he was an outstanding athlete taking part in football, basketball, baseball. He also at one time coached the Freshman basketball team.
