Mixed teams from the Harvard-Radcliffe debating councils will meet in Agassiz Hall tomorrow night at 8 o'clock. The subject for discussion is to be, "Resolved, That the trend of modern advertising is deplorable."
The debaters have been coached by R. W. Cones '95, instructor in English. The affirmative will be upheld by the Misses Grace McGlinchey, and O'Connell, the Messrs, H. S. Saxe '34, and Albert Levy '34.
The Misses Cathalene Burns, and Rebecca Ruggles, the Messrs, C. L. Harris '34, and G. T. Chase '34, will maintain the negative.
The Harvard members were chosen from English A sections, while the Radcliffe team competed for membership in the squad. They have been practising for about two weeks.
The mixed Harvard-Radcliffe discussions are still a new tradition having been held for only the last two years.
