LIFE-SAVING CANDIDATES ARE TO UNDERGO RED CROSS TESTS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Classes for those interested in passing the Senior American Red Cross life-saving test will begin Tuesday, April 27, in the New Indoor Athletic Building Robert Muir, assistant swimming coach, is teaching instructors for the course this week.

Only those men who pass the eligibility tests, however, will be allowed to qualify for the senior life-saving insignia. These tests require the ability to swim a quarter mile, to dive from the surface of the water, and to swim the side and back strokes.

The life-saving insignia is an almost imperative requirement for a councillor's job in a summer camp, according to Coach Muir.
