DEBATING COUNCIL ELECTS ADVISORY BOARD FOR YEAR

Perry, Eaton, and Gleason Will Counsel Harvard Orators

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Three famous men, Bliss Perry, Francis Lee Higginson Professor of English Literature, Emeritus, Walter Pritchard Eaton '00, and A. A. Gleason '86, have accepted memberships on the Harvard Debating Council, it was announced last night. They will constitute a board which will act in an advisory capacity to the council during the ensuing year.

All three of the new members had much experience in debating. Professor Perry was coach at Princeton and, later, at Harvard. Mr. Eaton, now a prominent art and dramatic critic and author, was active in debating while he was an undergraduate in the University. Mr. Gleason, well-known Boston attorney, was likewise a debater at Harvard.
