Harvard Researchers Develop New Technology to Map Neural Connections
Patronesses and ushers for the Harvard Military Ball which will take place this evening at the Hotel Somerset, Boston, were announced yesterday by the officers of the dance committee, composed of Eliot While '31, chairman; B. F. Frazier '31, treasurer; and G. E. Norton '31, secretary. Dancing will be from 9 to 2 o'clock in the Louis XIV Ball Room, to music furnished by Roy Lamson's Harvardians.
This is the third of the annual balls given by the Military and Naval Science Departments. It is open to members of the two units at Harvard, and men in the Military or Naval Science Departments of Yale, M. I. T., and Boston University have also been invited to attend.
A staff of 15 ushers headed by F. I. Davison Jr. '31 will handle the crowd. Davison will be assisted by F. J. Mardulier '29, E. H. McGrath '31, E. G. Shaw '31, J. W. Crickard '33, G. R. Holden '31, and C. S. Bryan Jr. '33.
Ushers representing the Military Department will be P. A. Ketchum '31, W. S. Taylor '31, W. L. Thompson '32, and LeB. S. Willard '32. The Naval Department has named as ushers A. W. Huguley '31, R. G. Edwards '31, F. H. White '33, and E. S. Holden '33.
The receiving line at the ball from 10 to 11.30 o'clock will be composed of Mrs. A. C. Hanford, Mrs. William S. Sims, Mrs. R. T. Lyman, Mrs. W. S. Sturgill, Mrs. A. L. W. Movius, and Mrs. B. B. Wygant. A buffet supper will be served at 11.45 o'clock in the Blue Room of the hotel.
