J. B. Conant '13, professor of Chemistry, will act as chairman of a symposium at the eighty first session of the American Chemical Society at Indianapolis on March 31. This symposium is to inquire into contemporary developments in the chemistry of physiologically active substances and will be held under the auspices of the divisions of biological, medicinal, and organic chemistry. Nationally known chemists, physiologists, biochemists, and clinicians will report fresh advances that have resulted from the growing alliance between chemistry and medicine.
