Yesterday afternoon the first official winter practice session for Freshman and University lacrosse candidates was held in the Briggs baseball cage. About 30 men reported, of whom three were Freshmen. Practice hereafter will be held every afternoon at 4 o'clock for Freshmen and 5 o'clock for University candidates.

Freshman coach F. A. Pickard '29 points out that there are many opportunities for Freshmen on the lacrosse team. No previous experience is necessary, and first year men receive credit for compulsory athletics. The H. A. A. 'pays two-thirds the price of the lacrosse sticks and furnishes all other equipment except shoes. Freshmen wishing to play are asked to report at Dillon Field House to receive their lockers and equipment.

Practice for all men will continue indoors in the Briggs cage under University Coach Madison Sayles '27, Assistant Coach C. E. Heintz, and Freshman Coach Pickard until the middle of March, when regular spring practice will begin.
