BEAN, DAVIS, AND HITCH WIN RHODES SCHOLARSHIPS

Swarthmore, Pa., December 13--Francis Atherton Bean 1G. B., of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Burnet Maduro Davis '32, of Chicago, Illinois; and Charles Johnston Hitch 1G, of Boonville, Missouri, have been awarded Rhodes Scholarships it was announced here today by Frank Aydelotte, president of Swarthmore College. Bean applied for the award in Minnesota, Davis in Illinois, and Hitch in Arizona.

Other Harvard men who have been awarded scholarships, as previously announced, are R. N. Clark Jr. '32, of Atlanta, Georgia, L. C. Jenks 1G., of Newton Lower Falls, and S. D. Pollard '32 of Washington, D. C.
