FRESHMAN WILL HOLD PING PONG TOURNAMENT IN UNION

Pingpong has outdistanced billiards and backgammon in he race for 1935 indoor sports honors at the Harvard Union. A Freshman pingpong tournament conducted by the Union Committee, entries for which close Saturday, already has over 50 men signed up.

All members of the first year class are eligible to compete for the $10 gold piece, which has been offered to the winner. First year proctors have registered a protest over their exclusion from the forthcoming net battles between former preparatory school champions.
