BROOKS HOUSE FOREIGN STUDENT MEETING TODAY

INTERNATIONAL COUNCIL WILL COMMENCE SOON

This afternoon at 4.30 o'clock in the parlor of Phillips Brooks House the annual reception to the foreign students of the University will be held. The reception is to be under the auspices of the Foreign Student Committee, and the speaker of the afternoon will be Dean Willard Learoyd Sperry of the Theological School.

The reception this afternoon marks the first formal meeting of all the foreign students, old and new, to Harvard University. It is hoped that in addition to the foreign students there will also be a number of American undergraduate and graduate students who desire to become acquainted with the students of other countries.

Americans May Attend

Plans for the International Council, the monthly group for the discussion of international relations, have not been made definite to date, but committee meetings tomorrow will be held at which the plans of the organization of this body will be discussed. In the past there has been a preponderance of graduate students at these meetings, and it will be one of the aims of the Committee this year to create more undergraduate interest in these discussion groups.
