An announcement made by the Harvard Mountaineering Club lists the following men as having been elected to qualifying membership in the Club: J. W. Allen '34, W. O. Faxon '32, R. J. Gould '34, W. P. Hazard '34, E. S. Meany '34, D. H. Morse '33, G. H. Norris '29, R. M. Stone 2G.B., J. U. White '34, Edward Yeomans, Jr. '33, and Hamilton Young '33.
The club has arranged a skiing trip for those inexperienced in the sport, on Sunday, January 11. The party will leave at 9.30 o'clock in the morning for Groton, and will lunch at the Groton Inn. The outing is to include easy practice runs on the many slopes about the village.
From Wednesday, February 4, to Sunday, February 8, the Club has scheduled an expedition to Mount Washington. The group will climb the mountain by way of Pinkham Notch, headed by some experienced climber not yet chosen.
