THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION MADE BY STUDENT COUNCIL

"The tendency of a small group of undergraduates to create disturbances in the subway following hockey games this winter brings to head a problem which has been growing for three years. Last week there was considerable disorder, and one Freshman was arrested who stood trial in the Juvenile session of the District Court.

"The childlike repetition of the disturbances and their resulting damage to property and disregard of fellow passengers, including women and children, has stripped them of any superficial glamor they may once have had. They have merely become irritating occurrences in which a few individuals make public nuisances of themselves. We believe they meet with the strong condemnation of the undergraduate body and that any disciplinarian measures on the part of the College would be received with complete approbation."
