Adverse weather conditions again prevented Harvard's baseball team from playing when the cold weather caused the game with Colgate to be cancelled yesterday. This last engagement was the second successive one to be cancelled this week, since the University of Maine contest, scheduled for Tuesday was called off because of wet grounds.
Failure to play these two games has upset Coach Mitchell's plan to try all three of his pitchers this week in successive games. On the contrary, practice sessions have been confined to the cage since Monday.
The next contest for the University will take place tomorrow when the U. S. S. Southern team will play on Soldiers Field.
