As a member of the class of 1874, and as a man desirous of standing among those ready to praise moral courage, I beg to thank you for the position taken by the CRIMSON regarding the events and lessons of the very recent disgraceful week, October 5th through October 10th.
I am doing all I can towards getting a right estimate of that week, and, so far as may be, towards remedying and atoning for its unspeakable disgrace, but I am not young, and far from being a public man, so have addressed my efforts to those better fitted than I to take an active part in this work.
