This afternoon at 4.30 o'clock, the Phillips Brooks House Association will hold its annual reception for foreign students in the Brooks House. Dean W. L. Sperry, of the Divinity School will give a short welcoming address.
This affair is sponsored by the Foreign Student Committee of the Brooks House and is held every year. It is an opportunity for students from foreign countries to meet Americans, professors, and graduate and undergraduate students. It serves, also, to bring together those members of the University who are interested in international problems, and will pave the way for the supplementary meetings of the International Council, the discussion group organized by the Brooks House.
It is expected that interested members of the Cambridge and Boston social communities will be present and will make more metropolitan the welcome and friendships of the students from other countries.
