FRANCIS BLAKE '31 WINS JUNIOR SQUASH TITLE

GRADUATE TOURNAMENT STILL IN EARLY STAGES

In the final round of the Junior class squash tournament Francis Blake '31 defeated M. W. Schwab '31, 3-0, and won the championship. C. D. G. Breckinridge '31 has advanced to the semi-final round of the University tournament but the other brackets have not reached the completion of the fourth round.

Blake reached the semi-final round by defeating H. W. Sibley '31, 3-2; A. H. Rice Jr. '31, 3-0; and A. F. Wadsworth '31, 3-1. His opponent gained the final round by defeating R. L. Vaughn '31, 3-0; and by a default.

Senior Match Later

The championship of the Senior class will be decided by a match between R. S. Winslow '30 and W. A. Shurtleff '30. Winslow has defeated W. F. Koetzle '30, A. J. Derbyshire Jr. '30, and I. C. Gray '30, 3-1. Shurtleff advanced over R. B. Bell '30, W. H. Chesebrough '30, A. G. Booth '30, and R. P. Norton '30.

The graduate schools tournaments are not as far developed as the University and class tournaments as comparatively few matches have been played.
