"BIG SIX" TRACK OFFICIALS TO CONVENE ON THURSDAY

At the invitation of Harvard's athletic authorities, the athletic directors, track coaches, and track managers of the six major Boston universities will assemble at the Boston Harvard Club next Thursday in order to formulate tentative plans for the first annual Greater Boston Intercollegiate Track and Field Meet which is to be held in the Harvard Stadium on May 2 and 3.

This will be the first move towards running off the meet in which Harvard, B. U., B. C., Tufts, M. I. T., and Northeastern will participate. Representatives from all these colleges will be present to listen to W. J. Bingham '16, Director of Athletics outline preliminary plans.

The meet, proposed by Harvard last Spring, will bring together for the first time the leading colleges of Greater Boston. It was instigated in order to aid the promotion of better athletic relations between these colleges.

If the meet is successful this year it is planned to make the event an annual affair. It will be the only athletic contest of any kind in which Boston fans can see their favorites in action all at the same time, and should prove a great drawing card for Boston's sporting population.

The meet will come in the middle of Harvard's schedule being preceded by the Penn Relays and followed by the Yale meet and the outdoor I. C. 4 A. Both the University and Freshman teams of the various colleges will participate.
