UNIVERSITY WILL ASSIST IN MAKING EDUCATIONAL FILMS

Harvard University has just completed arrangement with Pathe whereby production on two series of educational motion pictures will begin immediately, it was announced yesterday. Plans for the pictures have been prepared by K. F. Mather, head of the Department of Geography here, under whose supervision the pictures will be edited.

Talking sequences will be introduced into the films wherever desirable, it is said. One series will be a comprehensive treatment of "Religions of the United States", another will be "Commerce and Industry". The films will be distributed by the education department of Pathe through their branches in 31 key cities of the country.
