WRESTLERS GATHER TODAY FOR FIRST SEASON'S WORK

Absence of Former Stars Handicaps University Grapplers

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

After a delay of two weeks, during which Clifford Gallagher, new wrestling coach, was occupied with duties as trainer of the Freshman football team, the grapplers will get under way this afternoon at 3 o'clock in Hemenway Gymnasium.

A large gathering is expected, as Coach Gallagher has gained considerable reputation, not only as a wrestler, but also in track and football. Although the team will be handicapped by the loss of Captain Joseph Lifrak '29, the return of J. F. Solano '30, former Freshman star, after a year's absence should be an important factor in the progress of the team. Another loss which will be severely felt is that of Crispin Cooke '32, lightweight star of last year's Freshman team. He will be prevented from wrestling this season because of an injury.

Prospects for a good 1933 squad are unknown, as no practice at all has yet been held for the first year men.
