With the first of the annual series of teas, there will be inaugurated a new policy with regard to these meetings. Instead of holding them as heretofore in the Living Room of the Union, some will be given in other large meeting rooms of the University, although the Union is not to be entirely forsaken.
The opening tea of the group is to be held in Fogg Art Museum, Friday afternoon, from 4.30 to 6 o'clock.
In years past, the ushers for the affairs have been picked at random from the students. This season, however, they are to be selected through James Roosevelt '30, who has been placed in charge of ushers at the teas.
At each of these gatherings, to which all members of the University are invited, there are present a number of professors and their wives, for the purpose of making contact with students in a manner social rather than educational.
This week, members of the Divisions of History, Government, and Economics, and of the Fine Arts, the School of Architecture, and the School of Landscape Architecture, are especially invited, as officers in those departments will be attending.
