CLARK TO ACT TEMPORARILY AS NEW ALUMNI SECRETARY

Choice of Directors of Association Made Monday

At a meeting on Monday night of the Directors of the Harvard Alumni Association, Henry C. Clark '11, of Boston was chosen as acting general secretary to fill the place of Joseph R. Hamlen '04, whose resignation became effective yesterday.

Mr. Clark will remain, however, as executive secretary of the Endowment Fund and as treasurer of the Alumni Association and the Bulletin, offices which he has held since 1927. He will continue to hold all three positions until a permanent general secretary has been appointed by the Alumni Directors.

Mr. Hamlen resigned on Monday in order to enter the advertising business in Boston, as Director for New England of Rudolph Guenther-Russell Law Incorporated, financial advertisers of New York City.
