The Middlesex third crew nosed out the Gore Hall crew by half a length in an exciting brush on the Charles yesterday afternoon.

The schoolboys set a high stroke over the half mile course, finishing in two minutes, 46 seconds, to beat the heavy, put less coordinated Freshman dormitory craft.
