Meeting the Springfield College lacrosse team Soldiers Field this afternoon, the Crimson stickmen will play their tenth encounter of the season at 4 o'clock.
The team will line up without Ira Markwett 128 at coverpoint. Markwett was injured in making a body check at the end of the first period of Monday's game with Syracuse, after staving off the rushes of Painter, aggressive Orange first attack, during the whole half. H. M. Hartnett '30, who has been playing at point during most of the spring, will fill Markwett's position this afternoon, while the latter remains on the sidelines.
This is Springfield's second year of playing lacrosse, and so far the western Massachusetts team has shown considerable scoring power and a fast attack:
The University twelve will line up today as follows:
H. L. Ellison '28, g.; F. A. Pickard '29, p.; Hartnett, c.pt.: R. L. Hatch '28, Id.; S. P. Park '29, 2.d; O. E. Mulliken '28, 3d.; C. D. McQuaid '28. c.; J. C. Dreier '28, 3a. ; R. C. Glenn '30, 2n. ; Captain J. H. Lane '28, 1a.; A. M. Murphy '29, o.h.: H. J. Wallace '28, i.h.
