NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The election of Charles McKim Norton '29 of New York City, as captain of the second University eight for the 1928 season was announced yesterday. Norton, who is a graduate of Groton, rowed on his school crew two years, being captain in his fifth form year.

As a Freshman, Norton was captain and stroke of one of the strongest first year eights that has been seen on the Charles River in recent years. His crew easily defeated an improvised Yale crew that spring. Last year he stroked the second University boat which lost to Yale at New London.

At the beginning of this year's season, Norton was rowing at No. 3 on crew B, and when Coach E. J. Brown '96 picked his first two eights at the beginning of last week he was placed at bow, where he is now rowing.
